Hello there! My name is Justine Chenel and I’m a knitwear designer based in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. I love to design knitting patterns full of textured stitches and skill-building techniques for ambitious knitters who want to make the most of their yarn stash. I hope that my designs inspire you to level up your knitting skills while creating a beautiful handknit wardrobe made with patterns that are fun and adventurous to knit.
Since I first learned how to knit 30 years ago, I have been absolutely enamored with all things yarn, often making it up as I went along, which led me straight into pattern writing! Now, you can often find me with one of my most current projects in hand and a glass of something bubbly nearby, dreaming up new patterns, dyeing grey yarn, and snuggling with my two dogs.
