Summer Solstice

 Summer Solstice
Last year, we started taking part in an old solstice tradition that I would like to share with you here.
Today, June 21st, I will be taking cuttings from the strongest plants in my garden to make a Solstice wreath. This wreath represents renewal, change, and growth. It will hang in our house until the Winter Solstice, December 21st, when we will burn it in a fire. The light from burning the wreath reminds us to bring light into darkness, and to start fresh as nature does each year.
